Al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage warned of the consequences and repercussions of calls launched by organisations of the alleged “Temple Mount” to intensify and increase the raids and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The calls are accompanied by a number of Jewish “religious fatwas”, which incite and encourage raids on Al-Aqsa, a map and detailed instructions in this regard.
The calls appeared in a private magazine that is published by the Haliba organisation, the so-called “initiative for the freedom of the Jewish Temple Mount”. The magazine was distributed last Saturday in synagogues all over the country.
In a statement, Al-Aqsa foundation said the magazine’s content and the call for escalation of raids are considered an additional incitement against Al-Aqsa Mosque and clear evidence of what is being planned for Al-Aqsa Mosque in the coming days.
The organisation stressed that there should be more communication and a daily presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque so as to provide a continuous human protection to defend and protect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The organisation’s statement explained that the Haliba initiative distributed a special four-page booklet which is said to be the first issue that will be followed by others. The first page showed an image of rabbis desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque against the backdrop of the Dome of the Rock. Its pages spoke about a number of “Jewish religious fatwas” that allow and even encourage the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The publication pointed out that the number of rabbis who support such fatwas are increasing, while quoting a leader of the Israeli intelligence unit confirming and encouraging the incursions of Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially by public figures, pointing out that this leads to more Israeli control over Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The newspaper also reported the results of a survey conducted by a specialised institute which found 78 per cent of Zionist are in favour of storming Al-Aqsa or what they referred to as “climbing the Temple Mount” and 73 per cent of them would perform Jewish prayers in Al-Aqsa if given the chance to do so.
