Al-Sisi: Egypt may see a third revolution

May 12, 2014 at 10:21 am

Egyptian presidential hopeful and ex-army chief Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi said in his second televised campaign interview Sunday evening that Egypt may witness a third revolution if the people are not informed about the volume of problems facing their country.

In an interview with the Dubai-based Sky News Arabia, Al-Sisi accused the Muslim Brotherhood of seeking to create a “parallel state” isolated from Egyptians, using a discourse which it deemed fit, and a religious vision which it considered to be better than others.

The second part of the taped interview will be aired Monday evening.
