Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Thursday when an Israeli rocket exploded in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Interior Ministry said 50 people were injured in the town of Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, during the dismantling of an Israeli F-16 rocket left by the Israeli army.
The wounded were transferred to Kamal Adwan hospital in the north and al- Shifaa hospital in Gaza city.
A spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said 50 people arrived at the hospitals after sustaining serious injuries from the explosion, but no casualties were reported.
Many Palestinians have been killed and injured during the past year in explosions of suspicious objects left by the Israeli army.
