Hamas: Israel responsible for the military escalation in Gaza

Hamas said it held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the military escalation in the Gaza Strip yesterday.

The movement’s spokesman, Sami Abu Zuhri, said in a press statement: “The occupation is responsible for the escalation on dawn on Wednesday.” He warned Israel against going too far with such follies.

Israeli warplanes yesterday targeted several sites belonging to Palestinian resistance factions in the south and north of the Gaza Strip. No casualties were reported.
