Jewish settlers cut and burn olive trees

Jewish settlers launched an attack on Palestinian-owned land and fields planted with olive trees in Bethlehem on Saturday.

According to sources in the local council in the village of Nahhalin, south west of the city, a group of illegal settlers cut and burned dozens of olive trees. The trees were planted and owned by Palestinian residents of Nahhalin and Jab’ah villages.

Quds Press reported on Sunday that the fire devastated a large area of agricultural land. The actual losses to local farmers have not yet been calculated.
