A Palestinian house in the Al-Issawiyeh neighbourhood of occupied Jerusalem was burnt yesterday after Israeli soldiers threw tear gas canisters at Palestinian youths, Quds Press reported.
Speaking to Quds Press, an eyewitness said that clashes between the Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian youth erupted in Abu-Ryalah and the Israeli forces threw tear gas canisters arbitrarily.
The eyewitness said that a civilian house was completely burnt after one of the canisters landed inside. Civil defence teams tried to extinguish the fire but it was too late. No human casualties were reported.
The Israeli army said Palestinian youths threw stones at troops but no casualties were reported.
This is the fourth house to be burnt by tear gas canisters in Al-Issawiyeh alone.
