Israeli troops arrest 3 minors in Jerusalem

Three Palestinian minors were arrested by Israeli occupation troops for alleged stone throwing in the village of Al-Issawiyeh, occupied East Jerusalem, Quds Press reported.

Local Palestinian sources told Quds Press that the boys were Diyaa Obaid, nine, Salah Al-Ayyoubi, 12, and Rami Rabea, 12. All of them were led to the police investigation centre in Salah Eddin Street.

Israeli police said the three Palestinian boys had thrown stones at an Israeli vehicle near their village.

Earlier in the day skirmishes took place between Palestinian youth and Israeli forces but no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces prevented a number of Palestinian female journalists from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque. Quds Press reported that one of the three journalists was prevented from entering the mosque while Israeli settlers stormed its grounds to complete Talmudic rituals under the protection of the army.
