Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has suspended flights to Israel because of the tense security situation in the country, Israeli media sources revealed.
“Tel Aviv is an expensive route to operate in stiff competition and we don’t have a sufficient profitability to keep it. We can also see that political instability is affecting the route,” an SAS spokesperson said.
“Flights are suspended due to the political instability affecting the flight line.”
The company added that their office in Israel would continue to function as usual, including providing services and selling tickets.
