Israeli soldiers stormed the Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem yesterday and returned again today to search through the medical files of outpatients, the International Middle East Media Centre reported.
Dr Ali Al-Husseini, head of the union workers in Makassed Hospital, said that more than 40 soldiers stormed the hospital building in search of outpatient medical files.
A confrontation broke out between hospital guards and soldiers.
No one was arrested during the events.
Al-Husseini called for protection for the hospital and its patients.
