Most victims of extremism in the world are Muslims, the Saudi Council of Ministers stressed yesterday, noting that it has a steadfast approach to facing and fighting all forms and sources of terror, Alamatonline.com reported.
In a statement issued in the wake of a ministerial meeting, Minister for Culture and Media Adel Al-Tarifi said: “Carrying out [terror] crimes opposes all values, morals and humanitarian principle and heavenly laws.”
The minister reiterated the Saudi stance that it is the pioneering power in the field of fighting all forms of terror, pointing out most of the victims are Muslims.
Meanwhile, the ministerial council strongly condemned the aggressive terror attacks taking place in Iraq, Turkey, Somalia, Burkina Faso, Pakistan, Indonesia and Cameron, which cost the lives of tens of innocent lives.
