Turkey condemns Israeli seizure of Palestinian land

The Turkish foreign minister “strongly” condemned Israel’s seizure of Palestinian agricultural land in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the foreign ministry said: “We strongly condemn Israel’s decision to seize 382 acres of agricultural land located near Jericho, in the eastern part of the occupied West Bank.”

“We cannot accept the settlement activity, which constitutes a violation of international law and is considered an act that undermines the two-state solution.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved a decision to seize 382 acres of Palestinian land in order to expand a Jewish settlement near the city of Jericho, according to reports by Israeli Radio two days ago.
