Saudi Arabia thwarts Houthi rebels’ attempt to cross border

A coalition of Arab countries led by Saudi Arabia thwarted on Monday an attempt by dozens of Houthi rebels and militias loyal to former Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh to cross the Saudi-Yemeni border area in vehicles.

The coalition carried out military operations on Monday morning against sites belonging to the Yemeni rebels inside Yemen to prevent more attempts to infiltrate the border area, the Al- Arabiyah news agency reported.

Saudi drones and border guards are monitoring the border and the movement of the militias.
