Anti-Houthi resistance makes gains in Taiz

Opposition forces in the besieged city of Taiz have made substantial gains in recapturing parts of the city from the Houthis and Saleh forces, a report revealed today.

The resistance forces are now in control of Bier Basha, one of the main areas Houthi and Saleh forces utilised to besiege the city. They also recaptured Taiz University and Taiz international airport.

The advance has come after days of subtle resistance gains that have been occurring at a time when the Houthis have entered into peace talks with Saudi Arabia.

There are also unconfirmed reports of tensions rising between Houthis and Saleh forces in northern Taiz.
