Turkey sends military reinforcements to border area

Turkey sent military reinforcements to the Turkish province of Kilis on Tuesday, which lies near the Syrian border, Anadolu reported.

According to Turkish military sources, Anadolu said that a convoy of tanks and military vehicles were sent by the leadership of the Fifth Armoured Brigade in Gaziantep to Kilis.

The Turkish army has reinforced its border with Syria due to clashes between the Free Syrian Army and Daesh, during which a number of projectiles landed in Kilis.

On Tuesday, Anadolu reported, three projectiles landed in Kilis and wounded two people.

It also said that four Syrians, including three orphan children were killed and six others were wounded when rockets from the Syrian side hit different places across Kilis.
