Arab Parliament warns Israel not to provoke emotion with Judaization of Al-Aqsa

The Arab Parliament has warned Israel not to provoke the feelings of Arabs and Muslims around the world with the dangerous escalation of its policies aimed at the Judaization of Al-Aqsa Mosque and government violations against the Palestinian people.

The parliament stressed in a statement on Tuesday that to achieve a just and comprehensive peace the Palestinian people must be able to exercise their inalienable rights, including the right to self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with full sovereignty over its territories.

The statement also said that to achieve this peace all Palestinian prisoners must be released from Israeli jails and the Palestinian refugee issue must be resolved based on international law and the Arab peace initiative.

The parliament called in its statement to provide support and solidarity for the Palestinian people struggling to stand up with determination and persistence against the Israeli attacks and daily violations against their land, holy places and properties.

The statement also stressed the parliament’s support for Palestinian reconciliation.
