OIC worried about civilians in Fallujah

Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) yesterday expressed its concerns about the forceful displacement of civilians from the Iraqi city of Fallujah, AlKhaleejOnline reported.

The Iraqi army is currently undertaking a military operation to regain control of Fallujah from Daesh.

OIC Secretary-General Iyad Madani reiterated the organisation’s support for the Iraqi government in its war against Daesh, stressing the importance of protecting civilians, their money and property irrelevant of their sect.
