The Head of the International Forum of Islamic Parliamentarians Naser al-Sanea condemned on Sunday remarks regarding Hamas and Islamic Jihad delivered by Saudi Emir Turki al-Faisal, Al-Resalah newspaper reported.
Al-Faisal accused Hamas and Islamic Jihad of causing instability in the region.
Speaking to Al-Resalah from Kuwait, Al-Sanea said: “We need no one to teach us lessons about the clarity of Hamas’ goals, mainly those which are related to its issue. Anyone that says anything different than this does not know the truth and his claims are turned down on him.”
Al-Sanea reiterated that Hamas won free elections, but a coup was carried out against it and that was “the first failing test for the West which claims to promote democracy”.
Al-Sanea also revealed internal movements inside international and Arabic parliamentarian forums aiming to dismiss Israel from the international forum.
