Qatari Ambassador and Head of Qatar’s National Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza Mohamed Al-Emadi arrived in the Gaza Strip this morning to oversee construction projects funded by the Gulf state.
Al-Emadi, who was accompanied by his family, entered the Strip through the Erez crossing which is under Israeli control.
He is expected to agree to new Qatari funded projects during his trip, in addition to meeting Hamas and Palestinian unity government officials.
