Israel arrests PA officer over claims he manufactured weapons

A member of the Palestinian Authority’s security services has been arrested in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus following claims he is a weapons dealer, local media reported yesterday.

Israeli media sources said authorities claimed to have arrested a “major weapons dealer” who was later identified as Mahyoub Knaza, adding that they confiscated the equipment he used to manufacture weapons.

In middle July, the Jerusalem Post reported that Israeli occupation forces had arrested four brothers, including two PA officers, in Nablus following claims they manufactured and supplied weapons.
