The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday called on the UN Security Council to take immediate actions to stop the growth in illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian lands.
In a statement, the ministry called on UN Security Council to send a delegation to investigate what it described as “Israel’s theft and Judaisation of Palestinian land”, and submit a detailed report to the council.
It also called on the Arab League to take the necessary decisions to reinforce this trend, pointing out that the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories are increasing every day.
