Kuwait is seeking international support in its bid for a seat at the UN Security Council, Kuwait News Agency reported yesterday.
Upon arriving in New York on Saturday, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah stressed that “Kuwait is keen on continuing its support to the UN so it can play an active role in helping many countries overcome crises and provide decent live for their people.”
He also emphasised Kuwait’s role in addressing international disasters, its work in international development, as well as mediating between conflicting parties in the Middle East.
