Daesh confirm death of propaganda chief

Wa’il Adil Hasan Salman al-Fayad, also known as Mohammed al-Furqan, is dead, Daesh confirmed on Monday.

While the US military claimed it killed Al-Fayad – Daesh’s influential propaganda chief – in an airstrike on Raqqa, the de facto capital of Daesh-held territory, last week, in a statement the extremist organisation merely confirmed that he was dead and did not provide any further details.
