The Seventh Conference of the Fatah movement will be held on 29 November, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas revealed today.
In a statement issued after the Central Committee of Fatah met in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, Abbas said the Committee “unanimously decided to hold the Seventh Conference of the movement on Tuesday 29 November in the city of Ramallah and in the presence of all its members.”
Members of Fatah who do not reside in the occupied West Bank will need to get Israeli approval to attend the meeting. Additionally, those living in the Gaza Strip will require special travel permits to exit the beleaguered enclave.
