The Palestinian Authority (PA) Foreign Minister Riyadh Al-Maliki yesterday reiterated that “Egyptian, Jordanian and Saudi efforts” stopped plans to relocate the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Sama news agency reported.
The minister stressed that this is the position of the PA and it is supported by the Arabs and the final statement of the Arab Summit will confirm this.

Speaking at the summit, Jordan’s King Abdullah said peace would not be attained in the Middle East without the creation of a Palestinian state under a two-state solution that would be the basis of a comprehensive Arab-Israeli peace deal.
Abdullah added that Israel was wrecking the chances of peace by accelerating settlement building in occupied Palestinian territories.
