Houthi militias have opened training camps for women, after thousands of their fighters fled, the Saudi News Agency (SPA) reported yesterday.

According to SPA, Yemeni women are being recruited without their families’ knowledge. The women are then being exploited in combat in several areas across the country.

Local sources told SPA that the “coup militias entrusted the supervision of these camps being held in houses in Sana’a to the Minister of Youth and Sports in the government of the so-called national rescue Hassan Zaid, who belongs to the family of Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, through his female relatives and soldiers from his own family.”
