A Palestinian man was arrested after he posted “good morning” in Arabic on Facebook, Haaretz reported.
Israeli occupation forces mistakenly translated the post to read “attack them”.
In a post to accompany a picture of him leaning on a bulldozer at a construction site in the illegal West Bank settlement of Beitar Ilir near Jerusalem, where he worked, the man wrote: “Good Morning.”

However Facebook’s automatic translation service said the words meant “attack them” in Hebrew and “hurt them” in English.
The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of incitement. He was released hours later when the mistake was identified.
