The Times of Israel’s website was hacked by Turkish activists today on the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Balfour Declaration.

Along with a verse from the Quran, the placeholder on site reads: “Even if we remain the only people in the world, we will still defend Gaza and Palestine.” The message is placed in front of an image of a Palestinian child with a Turkish flag behind him.
The Turkish hacking group Cyber-Warrior Akincilar signed the message.
The Times of Israel confirmed that its site had been hacked adding that it was “working to restore normal service as soon as possible”.
