Daesh terrorists shot dead at least three people and injured 12 others in northern Iraq, a police official said.

“Daesh gunmen in a car attacked a number of civilians in al-Farhaniya area, northwest of Balad district in Saladin province,” Lt. Salahuddin al-Jabouri, the police officer, told Anadolu Agency.

“The gunmen escaped immediately after the attack,” he added.

Last September, Daesh terrorist group lost its last stronghold in Saladin province after a military campaign in the eastern part of al-Shirqat district.
