Arbash added that “the industry of Islamophobia aims at spreading and promoting hatred against Muslims.”
He called for implementing measures in order to ensure the safety and security of Muslims.

The official stressed that Jerusalem stands as the conscience of humanity and Muslims, and a measure of law and morality, considering that the violation of its sanctity is an unfair violation of the right of worship.
Arbash’s comments came two weeks after the United States inaugurated its new embassy in occupied Jerusalem, sparking anger across the Muslim world and leading to the death of more than 65 Palestinian who were peacefully protesting against the move.
