Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning while singing the Israeli national anthem amid tight security from occupation forces.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, media official in the Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem, Firas Al-Debs, some 420 students and others stormed the mosque’s courtyards this morning.

Occupation forces also arrested two employees from the Al-Aqsa Mosque Reconstruction Committee while they were in the Dome of the Rock, and withheld the ID cards of several mosque workers.

There have been increased called for Jews to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays with 329 forcing their way in to the Muslim holy site on Yom Kippur last week.
