The central committee of Fatah called on Sunday for the public to mobilise against the far-right “flag march” planned by Israeli Jewish settlers in Jerusalem on Thursday, Al-Watan Voice has reported.

“Jerusalem is a red line,” said Fatah. “The Palestinians have strong will and resilience which is enough to resist the occupation in Jerusalem and all the occupied Palestinian lands.” The movement added that 100 years of conflict have proved that the Palestinians will never surrender. “We will continue to resist until the removal of the last Israeli soldier and settler from Palestine. The Palestinians will not continue to pay the price of fascist Israeli political conflicts and racist right-wingers and their plans.”

The committee also hailed the Palestinians of Sheikh Jarrah and other neighbourhoods of Jerusalem and praised the resistance of all Palestinians who reject Israel’s ethnic cleansing.

Fatah is placing full responsibility on Israel for any possible consequences of the situation in occupied Jerusalem and other Palestinian territories. It called upon the international community to intervene immediately and stop the plans of Netanyahu and other right-wing and extremist Israeli politicians who seek to Judaise Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
