Israeli occupation authorities arrested 27-year-old prisoner Mohammad Al-Daisi on Tuesday from Jerusalem upon his release from Negev Desert Prison.

Al-Daisi was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in 2017 and was charged with involvement in resistance against the Israeli occupation.

He was sentenced to six and a half years and spent his term in various prisons, including the prison from which he was released.

Following his rearrest, Al-Daisi was taken to a police station in occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation authorities released prisoner Mohammad Riyadh Abu Tayeh, 24, who completed a six-year prison term.

Abu Tayeh, from Jerusalem’s neighbourhood of Silwan, was also rearrested after his release from the Negev Desert Prison. He was released on condition of leaving Jerusalem for one week and signing a document stating he would not celebrate his freedom.
