Israeli Brigadier General Amir Avivi, as reported by Ynet, has articulated a grave concern regarding the potential outcomes of stopping the current war on Gaza. According to Avivi, ceasing hostilities at this juncture could lead to Israel losing strategic control over both its southern and northern regions in Gaza.
