Israeli worshippers cheer as effigy of Palestinian hangs from ceiling of synagogue

A newly circulating video on social media shows Israelis praying in a synagogue while what appears to be a doll dressed as a Palestinian drops from the ceiling and is left to hang in front of worshippers, who cheer as it appears. The video is thought to have been filmed during a Purim service held at a synagogue in in Bat Yam, south of Jaffa in Israel in March 2024.
