Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, has reiterated the kingdom’s full support for Egypt’s demand for the Israeli occupation army to withdraw from the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing so that aid can flow into the besieged Gaza Strip.

Al-Safadi added, in a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel Ati, yesterday, that the humanitarian aid entering Gaza does not meet the minimum needs within the Strip.

“We are now facing worsening conditions. Yesterday there was Israeli aggression that constituted another war crime by the bombing of refugees in Khan Yunis. Not a week goes by without us seeing more innocent Palestinians being targeted in places of refuge, whether in UNRWA schools or other camps,” he added.

He stressed the need for the international community to act, uphold international law, and take real, effective measures to stop this Israeli aggression and stop the war crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.

“The numbers speak for themselves about the number of children and women who died during this war. Everything is related to our common human values and is linked to international law. In Gaza, Israel destroyed it, and this must stop immediately,” he added.
