Lebanon’s Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah slammed Israel’s latest massacre against displaced Palestinians in Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis, under the pretext that it was targeting the leaders of the resistance in Gaza.

On Saturday, Israel killed more than 90 Palestinians and wounded nearly 300 others in an attack targeting a camp housing displaced persons in the southern Gaza Strip.

Later on Saturday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed: “The Al-Mawasi operation targeted Mohammed Deif and his deputy, Rafa’a Salameh, but so far there are no confirmations of their deaths.”

“The Zionist enemy committed a major massacre against displaced people in Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, and then justified it by claiming it targeted [resistance] leaders,” said Nasrallah, adding that this is a form of injustice and tyranny on earth.

For his part, Nasrallah said a majority of Hezbollah’s fighters who had been wounded during battles against Israel in support of the Palestinians in Gaza have recovered and returned to the battle fronts, adding what is happening in Palestine and Gaza is a stark example of the injustice we are experiencing.

He stressed that Hezbollah and the Houthis of Yemen will continue to support the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza with all possible means.
