The daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has taken to Instagram to divorce her husband.
In a message she put up on her account on Tuesday, Sheikha Mahra wrote: “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I Divorce You.”
She ended the message by signing it “Your ex-wife.”
Following the bold step, fans noticed that the royal couple had not only unfollowed each other on Instagram but also removed all photos of one another from their profiles.
Sheikha Mahra married Sheikh Mana in May last year, and they welcomed their daughter 12 months later.
The latest post comes just six weeks after the Dubai princess uploaded a picture with her daughter adding the message “just the two of us”.
