The Israeli occupation army assassinated a commander of Al-Qassam Brigades on Thursday in a drone attack on his car. Mohamed Jabara was killed while travelling in Lebanon’s Western Beqaa District.
The armed wing of Hamas issued a statement in which it described Jabara as one of its “glorious knights.”
Al-Qassam Brigades said that Jabara was a martyr in the struggle for the liberation of Palestine from Israel’s brutal military occupation and oppression. His blood, added the movement, will forever be a beacon of light for its resistance fighters.
All kinds of resistance against military occupation are legitimate under international law, “including armed struggle.”
