The Israeli occupation forces detained a number of Palestinians in dawn raids across the occupied West Bank today, and demolished some homes and other civilian infrastructure, the Palestinian Information Centre has reported.

According to local sources, the occupation forces raided several homes in Qalqilya City and detained two Palestinians. In the Bethlehem district, two others were taken away during raids in Beit Fajjar and Teqoa. Two other towns were raided in the area, Za’tara and Ubeidiya, but no arrests were made.

In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces arrested three teenagers from Silwad and three brothers from Qibya. Several cars sustained damage during the raid in Silwad.

In Tulkarem, one young man was reportedly taken prisoner during an Israeli raid in Shuweika suburb. In Nablus, a Palestinian suffered shrapnel wounds and another one was detained following a violent raid in Ein refugee camp.

The Israeli army also bulldozed a four-storey house in Duma village, south of Nablus, on the pretext of unlicensed construction. In Al-Khalil (Hebron), the Israeli occupation forces stormed into Awwa and destroyed a number of agricultural structures, a water well and a vast tract of land planted with crops belonging to a local resident.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police stormed Beit Duqqu in the north-west of the holy city and arrested one Palestinian after ransacking his home.
