Israeli occupation forces killed two Palestinians and injured four others in a drone attack on the Balata refugee camp in Nablus city in the northern occupied West Bank this morning, the Palestinian Information Centre reported.

Local sources said that an Israeli drone targeted with at least one missile a gathering of citizens in the Balata camp, killing ex-prisoner Wael Misha and Ahmed Sheikh Khalil, both from the refugee camp.

Four more people were injured in the attack, including a woman and a child.

Meanwhile, medical sources affirmed that a young man suffered from a gunshot injury in the eye, and another has had his hand broken after he was run over by an Israeli military vehicle.

Another one suffered from gunshot injury to the thigh, while a fourth suffered from shrapnel wounds, the sources added.

The drone strike took place as occupation forces raided the Balata camp in eastern Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said Israeli forces hindered the movement of the ambulances transferring the injured to hospital, and tried to arrest injured men.

During the raid, the Israeli forces deliberately destroyed residents’ vehicles and the Martyrs’ Monument.

The raid came to secure Jewish settlers’ incursion into Joseph’s Tomb in the city.
