Thirteen civilians were injured yesterday morning in a Syrian regime drone strikes targeting the town of Kafr Nouran in the Aleppo countryside.
Regime forces launched around four suicide drones at the town’s market, resulting in several injuries, including to children, and causing significant material damage to civilian properties, the Syrian Civil Defence (White Helmets) said on X.
The humanitarian organisation added that the injured have been transported to hospitals, some in a critical condition.
The strike coincided with the overflights of Russian reconnaissance aircraft in the area.

Additionally, regime forces carried out artillery shelling on the city of Tadif in eastern Aleppo, causing material damage.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has documented “the death of 130 people including 22 women and 46 children since the beginning of 2024, due to explosion of war remnants, in addition to the injury of 164 people, including 17 women and 82 children.”
Clashes and shelling have resumed between Syrian regime forces and their allied militias on one hand and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on the other, in the Deir Ez-Zor province in eastern Syria.
Ibrahim Al-Hassan, a media activist in Deir Ez-Zor, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that regime forces and their affiliated militias targeted the city of Al-Mayadin with four mortar shells, which landed on the outskirts of the town of Al-Hawayij in the eastern Deir Ez-Zor countryside, an area under SDF control. No casualties were reported, and the SDF responded to the source of the fire. Clashes also erupted between the two sides along the western bank of the Euphrates River, with mortar shells falling in some of the nearby villages.
