Israeli occupation forces today prevented diplomats accredited by the State of Palestine from entering the area of the Ibrahimi Mosque in occupied Hebron, WAFA reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the diplomats were on a field tour in the Hebron Governorate and its Old City.

It said Israel prevented the diplomats from entering the mosque in an effort to prevent them from seeing the crimes of Judaisation and theft and the changes the occupation has made to the features of the mosque.

The ministry pointed out that in cooperation and coordination with the Hebron Governorate, it organised a field tour for diplomats accredited by the State of Palestine, in which 30 ambassadors, heads of mission and international organisations participated, to inform them of the reality of the governorate and its Old City, which are being subjected to continuous violations by occupation forces and illegal settler militias.
