Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claimed Tel Aviv’s attacks on Lebanon are justified because Lebanese civilians have “rocket launcher rooms” in their homes.

In a post on X, Bennett wrote: “Many Shiites in Lebanon have a unique revenue stream: In their home they have a special “Rocket Launcher Room”.”

“They’re paid monthly rent by Hezbollah to host this launcher and be prepared to shoot rockets at Israel communities on demand,” he added.

Inciting the killing of civilians in Lebanon, he continued: “I remember as a company commander fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, I was astonished by this. Who the heck turns their home into a terror base? The IDF is now systematically destroying these death machines. Anyone man who turns his home into a death launch pad puts his family in severe danger, and ONLY he is responsible for the consequences.”

The Lebanese Minister of Health confirmed that more than 500 people had been killed in Israeli air raids yesterday and wounded 1,024 others.

The Israeli occupation army announced on Monday evening the expansion of its military operations and the bombing of a number of sites in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The army said that it bombed about 800 targets linked to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley region. “Among the targets that were struck were buildings in which Hezbollah was hiding missiles, shells, launch pads, drones, and additional terrorist infrastructure,” it claimed.

The Israeli occupation army radio also revealed that the raids on the southern suburb of Beirut targeted Hezbollah leader Ali Karaki.
