The Israel occupation army demolished a house in Tura village, west of Jenin in the West Bank, on Tuesday morning, on the pretext of unlicensed construction, the Palestinian Information Centre has reported.

According to the head of the village council, Tareq Qabha, Israeli forces escorting three bulldozers stormed into the village and knocked down a house belonging to a local resident. About thirteen other homes in the same village are threatened with demolition, said Qabha.

Mohamed Zaid said that his brother Yunis had received a military demolition notice last year against his house, but the Israeli army did not provide a specific date for the measure. He added that his brother had lived in the house with his wife and daughter for about six years.
