Iraq’s Hezbollah Brigades yesterday called on pro-Iran factions to “increase the level and scale of their operations and the level of their threat” against Israel, as the Israeli army continues to bomb what it claims are Hezbollah targets across Lebanon.

Abu Ali Al-Askari, a spokesman for the Hezbollah Brigades, said in a statement: “We hope that the Islamic resistance factions in Iraq that support Palestine and Lebanon will increase the level and scale of their operations and the level of their threat to the enemy (…) to making it more painful in this complex war.”

Israel launched its most intense and deadly bombing campaign against Lebanon in nearly 20 years on Monday killing more than 620 people in just three days.
