Israel’s Channel 12 reported an agreement between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the occupation to deploy 500 PA security personnel in the northern West Bank to dismantle the explosive devices prepared by the resistance to target the occupation forces during the raids.
This comes amid growing resistance activity in the occupied West Bank, where the occupation is carrying out daily raids and arrests against Palestinians.
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas demanded, in a statement issued on Tuesday, that the PA stop what it called “suspicious behaviours” and urged it to push the security forces to confront the Israeli occupation instead of pursuing the resistance fighters.

The movement urged: “We call on the PA leadership to stop its suspicious and unacceptable behaviours and to work to push the security services to engage in resistance.”
“The continued pursuit of resistance fighters by the PA in the West Bank is in complete submission to the occupation and participation in the aggression against our people,” it added.
The occupation forces are escalating their crimes and arrest campaigns in the West Bank, which has led to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians, coinciding with widespread and destructive aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 358th consecutive day. This has led to the deaths and injuries of tens of thousands of Palestinians, most of whom are women and children.
