Jamal Al-Dura, father of Palestinian boy, Mohammed Al-Dura, who was assassinated by Israeli soldiers in Gaza 24 years ago while hiding in his father’s arms has recalled his painful assassination in a TV interview.

Speaking to Sada Al-Balad TV channel, Jamal said “I am still hurting from the bullets that penetrated my son’s body, and I cannot forget how the Israeli Occupation soldiers fired bullets at us while we were hiding.”

“The Israeli Occupation’s bullets were stronger than rain showers. When Mohammed was hit by the first bullet in his foot, he screamed and said the dogs hit me, then he repeated this sentence 3 times in a row, and I told him not to be afraid, my son,” said Jamal.

On 30 September, 2000, Israeli army forces shot Muhammad Al-Dura and his father intentionally, before press cameras.
