Reports have indicated that Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, striker for Eintracht Frankfurt, is among the players of interest to Liverpool FC following his impressive performances this season.

The same sources explain that Liverpool’s interest in signing Marmoush comes amidst speculation surrounding the possible departure of fellow Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from the Reds next summer, as his contract expires in June 2025.

No contract renewal negotiations have begun between Salah and Liverpool, with speculation spreading that this could mean the striker will be leaving the team at the end of his contract. This opens the door for top European clubs, alongside teams from the Saudi Pro League, to pursue him.

Renowned Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg wrote on his X account: “Omar #Marmoush is on the list of FC Liverpool. The Reds are closely monitoring his situation.”

“Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt want to extend his contract early by one year until 2028. Without a release clause, ” Plettenberg added.
