Lebanon’s Hezbollah has confirmed the readiness of its missiles to strike any location in occupied Palestine, as directed by the resistance leadership. Sheikh Naim Qassem, the party’s deputy Secretary-General, reaffirmed that the group’s command and control system has returned stronger and more solid than it was prior to the pager terrorist attack carried out by Israel and the assassinations of its senior leadership, including Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

“The Zionist enemy’s continued attacks on our people in steadfast Lebanon will make Haifa, like Kiryat Shmona and other border settlements, a target for our missiles,” said Hezbollah in a media statement issued yesterday. “This is what the enemy and its settlers have witnessed today in Haifa and its surroundings.”

The statement added that the “Islamic Resistance” can strike where the enemy least expects, and its fire will not be limited to missiles or drones.

Qassem also claimed that: “What this enemy is witnessing from our fighters is only a glimpse of the severe pain that awaits them in southern Lebanon.” He added that Hezbollah’s top leadership was directing the war and that the commanders who have been have since been replaced. “We have no vacant posts.” A new leader to succeed Nasrallah will soon be announced, he said. This is widely speculated to be the late leader’s relative, Hashem Safieddine.

Hezbollah also addressed the Lebanese public: “You are our strength, the secret of our steadfastness, and the reason for our victories. With your prayers, we sharpen our resolve and fight proudly.”

The statement by the operations room concluded with a message of solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza: “We will not abandon our support for the Palestinians and their valiant resistance in Gaza. This is our promise, and we will keep it, God willing, until the last breath.”
