Hezbollah accused Israel of launching rockets loaded with “cluster bombs” on Tuesday, Sky News Arabia has reported. The rockets targeted three sites in southern Lebanon.

“The crime of dropping cluster bombs confirms the enemy’s disregard for all international norms and conventions,” Al Jazeera quoted Hezbollah as saying. The movement said earlier that it targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation forces near the Ramya site with artillery.

The occupation army’s North Command commander has announced his intention to destroy Hezbollah’s infrastructure and remove it from the region. Israeli newspaper Maariv reported on Tuesday that the Israeli army had begun implementing a decision to eliminate members of Hezbollah’s Unit 127 after the attack on the Golani base.

A preliminary investigation by the occupation army revealed details of the drone attack launched by Hezbollah on a training base for the Golani Brigade on Sunday, killing four soldiers and wounding dozens. It also announced new measures to avoid such attacks in the future.

The Israeli Air Force investigation stated that the drone was part of an offensive plan by Hezbollah, which included launching “drones, missiles, and three precision missiles targeting Haifa at the same time.”
